Artist: Casey Gray And Abundant Plains

The works of Casey Gray, San Francisco based artist, is done in aerosol paint and hand cut masking techniques to portray "skewed hyper-realism" in layered still life arrangements (Flowers, Tables, Cabinets, Boards, Clusters, and Waves). Gray creates narratives from specific content from various sources, both offline and online, that construct new identity and find new relationship between himself and the world.

I love it how Grays work oozes kitsch but is not without class. His new works will be on display at Circuit 12 Contemporary in Dallas until November 15th. Circuit 12 Contemporary

Casey Gray is interested in how people process

and manage this visual overload,

and aims to create work that explores

and emphasizes the collision of visual experiences

inherent to the contemporary landscape.

Artist: Waves, Icebergs, And Zaria Forman

Photographed by Brian Pineda

Wow, WOW. I learned about Zaria Forman's pastel drawing when I first came across the picture of her at the studio, of course, there was her drawing as a backdrop. Everything in the picture was so inspirational: first the art, the back of the artist working on her drawing, and the studio that is filled with calmness and passion.

The inspiration for Forman's drawings began in early childhood when she traveled with her family throughout several of the world's most remote landscapes, which were the subject of her mother's fine art photography. Born in South Natick, Massachusetts, Zaria currently works and resides in Brooklyn, New York. She studied at Studio Art Centers International in Florence, Italy and received a B.S. in Studio Art from Skidmore College. Zaria Forman | About

Artist: Karin Jurick And Art of Art Looking At Art

Have you ever thought of someone could be watching you when you are lost in the beauty of iconic artworks at the museums? Karin Jurick, the artist, takes her camera everywhere and then paint from those photos to capture moments in time, people just doing their thing.

In her voyeuristic painting series, Museum Patrons and A rtist Z serie, Jurick takes a step back to really look at the museum patrons' breathtaking encounter with the masterpieces. As a spectator of Jurick's paintings, I become curious about the feelings and thoughts of the viewers in front of the paintings as they are curious about the art in front of them. Although the postures of the viewers are rather still and static, we can imagine the eyes of the patrons are constantly moving to observe every details and overall atmosphere of the artwork. What could be also interesting is to find and recognize famous art within art.

At CanadaOnCanvas, we offer a wide range of giclee and fine art printing options. Artist: Maggie Chiang Between Humanity And Nature

We are glad to learn about Maggie Chiang's illustrations and introduce her artworks to you on this post. Chiang is a Taiwanese American illustrator based in California who won several awards from acclaimed art magazines such as Society of Illustrators and Creative Quarterly.

Her works are inspired by both real and fictitious places that evoke a longing for adventure and the pursuit of the unknown and unseen. For me, I think humanity places a larger part of her work, since simplified or often abstract background could be interpreted as the serenity of the protagonist's mind that the viewers can relate to. I'd love to have a print of her work hung on the wall so that I can gaze on it at the end of the day.

A central theme of her art is the relationship
between humanity and nature,
oftentimes the underlying thread
that ties together her work
and establishes her individual artistic voice.

Artist: Omar Robles Captures Dancers In The Streets Of New York

Omar Robles

Omar Robles was born and raised in Puerto Rico and is currently based in New York. About a decade ago, Robles started professional photography career for Metro San Juan Magazine in Puerto Rico which eventually led to working as a photojournalist for the Chicago Tribune's Spanish publication Hoy in 2010. From Chicago, Robles relocated to New York City where he began a dance in the streets series. Find hastag #OZR_Dance for the remarkable photographs of Robles.

What I love about Robles' Dance series is, it's obvious but, how the background-the streets of magical city of New York becomes the backdrop of the dancing stage only because of the presence of the dancer with powerful yet elegant movement. Look how the streets and the dancers create a collision of the deep emotion and powerful energe embedded in each other!

If you're looking for a contemporary way to display your favorite portrait photograph or fine art print without the distraction or additional cost of a frame, then plexi face mounting is a method to consider.

Facemount creates a permanent bond directly between the image and the back of the plexi. Reflection between the image and glazing is eliminated, causing light to reflect differently than it would in a traditionally framed image. Colours are more vibrant and the image appears sharper than ever before, standing out with a near 3D effect. The adhesive Facemount film contains UV stabilizers so the glue won't yellow and colours will remain vivid for years to come.

* Printing on RC Gloss paper
* Facemounting on 3mm plexi
* Mounting plexi on aluminum e-panel/Dibond
* Routered edges
* C-Bar hanging system
